Kardashian Kolors

I have to admit that the Kardashians are my favourite family, other than my own of course hehe. But when i found out that they had a secret meeting with OPI i was interested to find out what was happening. Then about a week ago Khloe posted information about there line of nail polishes that launches on 25th of november this year. Im so excited to try them out and see how they look.

From top row left to right in the image above they are: All Kendall-ed Up, Sealed with a Kris, Kim-pletely In Love, Khloé Had a Little Lam-Lam, Kourt is Red-y for a Pedi, Rainbow in the S-kylie. And bottom row, left to right: Disco Dolls, Listen to Your Momager!, Wear Something Spar-kylie, It’s all about the Glam, Follow Me on Glitter, Kendall on the Katwalk, My Empire… My Rules.

I wonder what else the girls are capable of :)

How i look after my hair extensions!

Its not a secret that alot of people these days are getting hair extensions. Whether its for length, thickness, or a couple around the sides of your face, fake hair is the way to go if you cant wait for your hair to grow. My hair really isnt that short, but i get hair extensions so that my hair is longer and thicker.

Ive had 2 sets of hair extensions. The first set i ever got were weave in and they were great throughout the 2 months that i had them in for because as soon as i dyed them, a week later they were knotting up and really frustrating me. ive learnt now that because it was the first time ive ever had/tried hair extensions i probably wasnt looking after them the way i should have been. i took them out that weekend. The 2nd set i ever got i got them 3 days before christmas and i still have them in now and its been almost 8 months since chritmas. I decided to dye them about 2 and a half months ago, but learnt from my previous mistake and took care of them better than i had with the ones beforehand. at the moment, they have thinned out quite a bit because iv had them for quit a while, so im thinking about taking them out.

i just wanted too share a few tips that i have learnt about looking after your hair extensions, because the more you look after them, the longer they will last :)

  •  Before you wash your hair, make sure you brush out all tangles. When shampooing your extensions, make sure you just run the shampoo through them, DONT rub them.
  • When you get out of the shower dry your hair with the towel softly making sure you dont rub your hair rough with the towel. then get a wide tooth comb and starting at the bottom and working your way to the top, comb the knots out gently. you may blowdry them, but its best to let them dry naturally.
  • When swimming in chlorine or salt water, its best to wear a swimming cap or in a ponytail because the water will mat ur extensions up.
  • Use a good leave-in conditioner. But dont use excessive amounts. To much condioner and hair products can cause build up and tangling.

Hope these tips are helpful :)

Best body oil for your skin type!

I decided to do a little research on body oils to suit different skin types because i know myself that its very hard for me too find one that i like and my skin likes because my skin is very sensitive.

What i found was some natural recipes too make your own body oil in the comfort of your own home. I also like the fact that these have natural ingredients and are very fun too make. Even a fun activity too do with your friends or family.

To make the body oil put 20 ml of almond oil in a small glass jar (make sure the jar has been washed out thoroughly) and a tight lid. Add the ingredients that are listed under your skin type. then shake the jar and pour a little bit into your palm then apply to the rest of your body.

Normal skin
8 drops of lavender
6 drops geranium
2 drops chamomile

oily skin
10 drops lemon
6 drops geranium
4 drops sandalwood

dry skin
8 drops patchouli
4 drops geranium
2 drops carrot

sensitive skin
3 drops geranium
2 drops patchouli

Leave me a comment and let me know if you tried it and your thoughts on it.

Enjoy!! :)
